E. Dominic Black is a professional artist and art teacher with a B.A. in Art and a Master’s Degree in Education. He is the Drawing and painting instructor at
San Dimas High School, and the 2D instructor at the
Career and Technical Education Center and the
Reed Fine Arts program at the Fairplex in Pomona. He also teaches location sketching in
watercolor on weekends to adults through the Community Education Program in Monrovia, CA. Dominic is the co-creator and host of
"Palates & Palettes," food, wine and painting events held on Saturday evenings at the Millard Sheets Art Center. Mr. Black has taught, basic, advanced and AP Studio art for over fifteen years, and he has led
art study trips through Europe every summer for the last five years. He is currently preparing for his next field trip abroad to visit
Rome in July 2016.
